Qur’an 4:152

Yusuf Ali translation
To those who believe in Allah and His apostles and make no distinction between any of the apostles, we shall soon give their (due) rewards: for Allah is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful.

Arabic transliteration
Wa ‘allaziina ‘aamanu bi ‘allaah wa rusulhi wa lam yufarriqu bayna ‘ah.ad minhum ‘ulaa’ika sawfa yu’tehim ‘ujurhum wa kaana ‘allaah ghafur(an) rah.iim(an)

Qur’an 5:74

Yusuf Ali translation
Why turn they not to Allah, and seek His forgiveness? For Allah is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful.

‘A fa laa yatubuun ‘ilaa ‘allaah wa yastaghfiruunhu wa ‘allaah ghafur rah.iim

Qur’an 5:101

Yusuf Ali translation
O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. But if ye ask about things when the Qur’an is being revealed, they will be made plain to you, Allah will forgive those: for Allah is Oft- forgiving, Most Forbearing.

Yaa ‘ayyuhaa ‘allaziina ‘aamanu laa tas’alu an ashyaa’ ‘in tubda lakum tasu’kum wa ‘in tas’alu anhaa h.iina yunazzal al qur’aan tubda lakum afaa ‘allaah anhaa wa ‘allaah ghafur h.aliim

Qur’an 6:54

Yusuf Ali translation
When those come to thee who believe in Our signs, Say: “Peace be on you: Your Lord hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) mercy: verily, if any of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented, and amend (his conduct), lo! He is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful.

Wa ‘izaa jaa’aka ‘allaziina yu’minuun bi ‘aayaatnaa fa qul salaam alaykum kataba rabbkum alaa nafshi ar rah.mah ‘annahu man amila minkum su’ bi jahaalah thumma taaba min ba dihi wa as.lah.a fa ‘annahu ghafur rah.iim

Qur’an 9:27

Yusuf Ali translation
Again will Allah, after this, turn (in mercy) to whom He will: for Allah is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful.

Arabic transliteration
Thumma yatub ‘allaah min ba di zaalika alaa man yashaa’ wa ‘allaah ghafur rah.iim

Qur’an 12:53

Yusuf Ali translation
“Nor do I absolve my own self (of blame): the (human) soul is certainly prone to evil, unless my Lord do bestow His Mercy: but surely my Lord is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful.”

Wa maa ubarri’ nafse ‘inna an nafs la ‘ammaarah bi as su’ ‘illaa maa rah.ima rabbe ‘inna rabbe ghafur rah.iim

Qur’an 14:36

Yusuf Ali translation
“O my Lord! they have indeed led astray many among mankind; He then who follows my (ways) is of me, and he that disobeys me,- but Thou art indeed Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful.

Rabbi ‘inhunna ad.lalna kather(an) min an naas fa man tabi ane fa ‘innahu minne wa man as.aane fa ‘innaka ghafur rah.iim

Qur’an 17:25

Yusuf Ali translation
Your Lord knoweth best what is in your hearts: If ye do deeds of righteousness, verily He is Most Forgiving to those who turn to Him again and again (in true penitence).

Rabbkum a lam bi maa fe nufuskum ‘in takuunu s.aalih.iin fa ‘innahu kaana li al ‘awwaabiin ghafur(an)

Qur’an 17:44

Yusuf Ali translation
The seven heavens and the earth, and all beings therein, declare His glory: there is not a thing but celebrates His praise; And yet ye understand not how they declare His glory! Verily He is Oft-Forbear, Most Forgiving!

Tusabbih. Lahu as samaawaat as sab wa al ‘ard. Wa man fehinna wa ‘in min shay’ ‘illaa yusabbih. Bi h.amdhi wa laakin laa tafqahuun tasbeh.hum ‘innahu kaana h.aliim(an) ghafur(an)

Qur’an 18:58

Yusuf Ali translation
But your Lord is Most forgiving, full of Mercy. If He were to call them (at once) to account for what they have earned, then surely He would have hastened their punishment, but they have their appointed time, beyond which they will find no refuge.

Wa rabbka al ghafur zu ar rah.mah law yu’aakhizhum bi maa kasabu la ajjala lahum al azaab bal lahum maw id lan yajidu min duunihi maw’il(an)

Qur’an 24:5

Yusuf Ali translation
Unless they repent thereafter and mend (their conduct); for Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful.

‘Illaa ‘allaziina taabu min ba di zaalika wa as.lah.u fa ‘inna ‘allaah ghafur rah.iim

Qur’an 24:62

Yusuf Ali translation
Only those are believers, who believe in Allah and His Messenger. when they are with him on a matter requiring collective action, they do not depart until they have asked for his leave; those who ask for thy leave are those who believe in Allah and His Messenger. so when they ask for thy leave, for some business of theirs, give leave to those of them whom thou wilt, and ask Allah for their forgiveness: for Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful.

‘Inna-maa al mu’minuun ‘allaziina ‘aamanu bi ‘allaah wa rasulhi wa ‘izaa kaanu ma ahu alaa ‘amr jaami lam yazhabu h.attaa yasta’zinuhu ‘inna ‘allaziina yasta’zinuunka ‘ulaa’ika ‘allaziina yu’minuun bi ‘allaah wa rasulhi fa ‘izaa ista’zanuka li ba d. Sha’nhim fa i’zan li man shi’ta minhum wa istaghfir lahum ‘allaah ‘inna ‘allaah ghafur rah.iim

Qur’an 33:50

Yusuf Ali translation
O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee; and daughters of thy paternal uncles and aunts, and daughters of thy maternal uncles and aunts, who migrated (from Makka) with thee; and any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her;- this only for thee, and not for the Believers (at large); We know what We have appointed for them as to their wives and the captives whom their right hands possess;- in order that there should be no difficulty for thee. And Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Yaa ‘ayyuhaa an nabey ‘in(na)naa ah.lalnaa laka azwaajka ‘allaate ‘aatayta ‘ujurhunna wa maa malakat yamiinka min maa afaa’a ‘allaah alayka wa banaat ammka wa banaat ammaatka wa banaat khaalka wa banaat khaalaatka ‘allate haajarna ma aka wa imra’ah mu’minah ‘in wahabat nafshaa li an nabey ‘in araada an nabey ‘an yastankih.haa khaalis.ah laka min duuni al mu’miniin qad alimnaa maa farad.naa alayhim fe azwaajhim wa maa malakat aymaanhum li kay laa yakuun alayka h.araj wa kaana ‘allaah ghafur(an) rah.iim(an)

Qur’an 33:59

Yusuf Ali translation
O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Yaa ‘ayyuhaa an nabey qul li azwaajka wa banaatka wa nisaa’ al mu’miniin yudniina alayhinna min jalaabebhinna zaalika adnaa ‘an yu rafna fa laa yu’zayna wa kaana ‘allaah ghafur(an) rah.iim(an)

Qur’an 38:66

“The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again.”

Rabb as samaawaat wa al ‘ard. Wa maa baynahumaa al azez al ghaffaar

Qur’an 57:28

Yusuf Ali translation
O ye that believe! Fear Allah, and believe in His Messenger, and He will bestow on you a double portion of His Mercy: He will provide for you a Light by which ye shall walk (straight in your path), and He will forgive you (your past): for Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Yaa ‘ayyuhaa ‘allaziina ‘aamanu ittaqu ‘allaah wa ‘aaminu bi rasulhi yu’tikum kiflain min rah.mahhi wa yaj al lakum nur(an) tamshuun bihi wa yaghfir lakum wa ‘allaah ghafur rah.iim

Qur’an 58:12

Yusuf Ali translation
O ye who believe! When ye consult the Messenger in private, spend something in charity before your private consultation. That will be best for you, and most conducive to purity (of conduct). But if ye find not (the wherewithal), Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Yaa ‘ayyuhaa ‘allaziina ‘aamanu ‘izaa naajaytum ar rasul fa qaddimu bayna yadai najwaakum s.adaqah zaalika khayr lakum wa at.har fa ‘in lam tajidu fa ‘inna ‘allaah ghafur rah.iim
